What Can TexasAbility Do For You?

TexasAbility can register your project if desired as part of our plan review services. The TDLR registration fee must be paid and registration form transmitted to TexasAbility prior to performing the registration. Or you can register the project and provide TexasAbility with the TABS registration confirmation page*.

TexasAbility’s Plans Examiners are licensed by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation to perform TAS Plan Reviews on behalf of the State of Texas. The Design Professional or Owner (if there isn’t a Design Professional) is required to submit the subject project for plan review within 20 days of the project issue. Contact Martin for submittal requirements and fees.

TexasAbility’s Inspectors are licensed by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation to perform TAS Inspections on behalf of the State of Texas. Per the Plan Review Letter, the Owner shall request an inspection within 30 days of project completion. In accordance with Administrative Rule 68.52(a), the inspection must be completed by the first anniversary of the completion of construction. Contact Martin for submittal requirements and fees.

Surveys of existing buildings and site conditions, with or without a written report, are available as a negotiated service, or on an hourly basis.

We can assist building owners with remedial solution designs, establishment of priorities, and recommendations not associated with a project for which we performed the plan review or inspection.
Review of standard details or drawings, not related to a project, are available as a negotiated service or on an hourly basis.

TexasAbility can provide an educational presentation for self-reporting continuing education units based on your needs. Presentations can be tailored to a particular discipline or trade.
*Please Note: On December 3, 2018, TDLR launched a new online registration system called the Texas Architectural Barriers online System (TABS) to replace the EABPRJ Registration System. This system is the new online project database for registration and maintenance of the Elimination of Architectural Barriers project records
